Tasting Notes

Nose

Rich and expressive, with orange peel, brown sugar and glacé cherry emerging immediately from the glass. Beneath the initial sweetness sit subtle botanical notes, adding a gently herbal complexity, while charred sugar brings a darker and more concentrated depth.

Palate

Full of character, with brown sugar and dark caramel giving way to orange peel and syrupy cherry. The sweetness is balanced by gentle spice and a slightly dry, botanical edge, while a touch of char provides structure and keeps the whisky from becoming overly rich.

Finish

Warming and increasingly dry, with bittersweet orange, caramelised sugar and lingering cherry. A final trace of herbs, spice and charred oak gives the finish a distinctive, slightly savoury complexity.
