Tasting Notes

Nose

Soft, welcoming and beautifully mature, with golden caramel, runny honey and gentle vanilla rising from the glass. Toasted grain gives the whisky a warm, malty character, while the long maturation in American oak and ex-bourbon casks brings depth, polish and a subtle layer of oak spice.

Palate

Smooth and rounded, with caramel and honey leading into vanilla sweetness and gently toasted cereal. The bourbon-cask influence remains at the centre of the whisky, bringing together mature oak, soft malt and a measured touch of spice without overwhelming its naturally elegant Highland character.

Finish

Warming, balanced and quietly persistent. Honeyed malt and caramel gradually fade into toasted grain, vanilla oak and gentle spice, leaving a composed and satisfying final impression.

More from Earlier Seasons

Our earlier seasons began the Whisky Craft journey across Scotland, with memorable single casks including a rare 36-year-old Jura alongside releases from Caol Ila and Auchentoshan.
